Vascular and Interventional Radiology

This service consists in addressing intra- or extracranial arteries and peripheral vessels with catheters technique used to locate, and display, sometimes correct, disorders of blood flow and the structure of the wall thereof. In the Cardio Clinic VID each patient receives the information and evaluation required according to your needs.

They are procedures to diagnose and provide a solution to problems such as brain or abdominal aneurysms, pelvic varices or lower limb, hemangiomas, embolized tumors etc. Each procedure lasts and different characteristics.

In the radiology service you will find:
  1. Conventional tomography and angiotomography: skull, face or sinuses, spine , chest, abdomen, thoracoabdominal and lower or upper extremities.

  2. Specialized heart studies: Score de football, AngioCT of coronary arteries, heart angiogram, Triggered aortic angiography, Angiotac for triple discard protocol (study of the three vascular territories, aorta, coronary and pulmonary arteries) and Angiotac protocol for TAVI

  3. Ultrasound-guided or Tomography-guided interventional procedures

  4. Conventional body and soft tissue ultrasound

  5. Conventional RX studies (chest x-ray, abdomen, extremities, column)
